Hand Carved Jade Peony Flower Pendant, 青海冰晴水牡丹牌

A necklace crafted from a peony flower pendant and a hand woven cord with jade beads. The pendant is crafted from 'qing shui' nephrite jade. The texture and the craftsmanship of this pendant are both excellent, the flaw is on the back of the pendant there are some tiny cotton-like inclusions.

'Qing Shui' is a term used to describe a specific translucent, light greenish-blue color often found in jade. The term "Qing Shui" literally means "clear water," which reflects the serene and refreshing appearance of this jade color.
